POSITION SUMMARY:
Under
the direction of the Director, Human Resources Operations and Staffing, the Senior
Human Resources Partner leads a team of Human Resources Partners in providing
strategic human resources/human capital management services to support an
assigned group of schools or departments.
The Senior Partner provides oversight, managerial leadership and support
to their assigned team of professional and support staff in all areas of
service delivery. Key responsibilities
include working with senior division leadership to develop and efficiently implement
the vision and priorities for strategic staffing and coordinating human
resources services that support the full employment lifecycle (recruitment,
selection, hiring, support, evaluation and retention), supervises the staffing
of assigned partners and directly staffing a small group of schools or
departments. The Senior Partner leads, manages and supports
the use of data to drive and inform human capital decision making in support of
achieving the mission, goals and objectives of the organization.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Leads
the implementation of strategic human resources/human capital transformation to ensure quality workforce planning
implementation and staffing requirements are met for assigned schools and
offices;
Provides
oversight and management and support to
assigned Human Resources Partners and support staff for strategic and
assigned transactional responsibilities; Supports the resolution of issues escalated
by assigned Partners;
Guides
and directs the establishment and maintenance of strong, positive working
relationships between partners and assigned principals and/or central office
staff to support all phases of the employment life cycle;
Coordinates,
directs and tracks the work of assigned Human
Resources Partners to support and assist principals and managers in all aspects
of human capital/human resources planning and implementation;
Assesses
performance of assigned staff, complete evaluations, conducts training to
ensure Partners are prepared to deliver quality services;
Ensures
high levels of team collaboration;
Reviews
human capital metrics and analytics with
organization leadership, principal supervisors and business function leaders to
enable fact-based decision making;
Supports
and assists Partners working with assigned principal/manager in analyzing relevant human
resource data regarding teacher/employee quality, turnover, absenteeism, and
other significant levers in improving workforce excellence;
Keeps
current with school student achievement/business function data and performance to
ensure human capital needs are met to continually improve student outcomes;
Prepares
reports, reviews and reports patterns and trends for executive and division
leadership, principals, managers to keep all apprised of human capital needs and
staffing issues;
Supports
principals/managers throughout performance management processes and
collaborates with other Human Resource departments and staff to ensure
effective improvement or exiting of low-performing employees;
Interfaces
with technology staff on information systems issues related to human resources; Adapts to new technologies quickly;
Utilizes
data to make informed decisions and support principals/managers in human
capital and talent management;
Uses
human resources technology and information systems; and
Performs
other duties as assigned.

resource/human capital management or education (teaching, building leadership)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's
degree (Master's degree preferred) from an accredited college or
university required in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration,
Public Administration, or a closely related field. Five years of progressive
managerial experience in human resource/human capital management or education
(teaching, building leadership) some of which has been in a large organization
or a combination of equivalent of five years of education and certification
experience and skills that would meet the position requirements. Strong
analytical skills that inform problem solving and decision making capacity.
Demonstrated customer service skills, leadership ability and decision making
skills. Experience with implementing human resources processes in educational
settings or employment procedures; Experience working in educational settings
preferably as a teacher, administrator or central office staff preferred.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
SHRM or PHR
certification preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May
supervise assigned administrative support staff.
