    College/Scholarship Essay Writing Workshop- Learn tips on how to develop a strong essay response for college and scholarship applications- November 13th @ 1 pm

    University of Maryland Eastern Shore- November 14th @ 8 am: On-Site Admissions!!

    Students MUST complete an application online at least 48 hours in advance. Apply at www.umes.edu/admissions. The application is free through October 31st on the website using discount code MCAC 2019. They are also partnered with The Common Application or the Common Black College Application.

    Bowie State University- November 15th @ 9:15: On-Site Admissions!!

    Students MUST apply on-line at www.bowiestate.edu/apply  and print the confirmation page in order to receive a decision on the spot. Students need an official high school transcript, official SAT or ACT scores, and application confirmation page, to be evaluated by an Admissions Representative.

    Regular Admission Criteria:

    Minimum GPA 2.3/ Average GPA 2.9; Minimum SAT 850 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math scores only); ACT Minimum composite of 17

    Scholarship Consideration: Cumulative GPA 2.8; Minimum SAT score of 900 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math scores only); Minimum ACT composite of 19
