POSITION SUMMARY:Under the direction of the Supervisor - Strategic Planning and Change Management, the Strategic Transformation Partner will be responsible for supporting the implementation and management of the district’s strategic transformation goals and building change management capacity for ongoing organizational effectiveness. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for consulting in the development of transformational strategies, work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, as well as promotion and implementation of change management best practices. The Strategic Transformation Partner will oversee the day-to-day implementation and support of the transformation initiatives, involving all divisions and functions. The incumbent will maintain connections with multiple stakeholder groups to increase the district’s success and effectiveness in implementation, deployment, sustainability and change management of strategic projects and programs. The incumbent will collaborate with project sponsors, subject matter experts, vendor partners and district staff at all levels throughout the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Applies
a structured methodology to partner with assigned divisions/departments to
develop, implement and monitor the execution of impactful strategies and
actionable - Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timebound (S.M.A.R.T)
goals and objectives to support the district’s transformation outcome goals; Consults
with and coaches strategy implementation teams on strategy requirements, milestones,
concrete deliverables and expected outcomes; Provides
guidance in change management, project management, performance management and
execution by preparing project scopes and developing project plans, schedules,
project estimates, resource plans, status reports and metrics per standard
methods and practices; Identifies
and calls out emerging risks and potential roadblocks to successful strategy
implementation early in implementation planning; Manages
project risks by anticipating issues throughout implementation, promoting new
thinking, creative solutions and ways of working to address issues and solve
problems; Supports
the collection of data as needed from managers/supervisors and front-line staff
engaged in change efforts to track change outcomes, impacts to staff and risks
to project success; Facilitates
communication and collaboration among implementation teams, ensuring equal
contributions to achieving common goals; Interacts
and maintains positive relationships with external and internal Ensures

QUALIFICATIONS Proven
experience in strategy development, project planning, management, scheduling
and resource management of large, complex projects; Effective
time management, documentation and organizational skills; Understanding
and knowledge of program implementation methodology and change management
principles; Strong
collaboration, interpersonal and relationship building skills; Excellent
communications skills, both written and verbal; Confidence
in communicating with program sponsors at all levels of the organization; Ability
to present and/or challenge ideas in relevant, respectful and understandable
language; Must
be highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail; Ability
to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure; Ability
to manage multiple priorities of equal significance simultaneously; Extensive
experience working in a cross-organizational, team-oriented, collaborative
environment; and Proficiency
with the Google suite of applications and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Teams) and MS Project.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in strategic organizational development, business management, information management or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of four (4) years of project management experience required; experience in a K-12 education environment preferred.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Certification in strategic planning/management, change management or project management preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No direct supervisory responsibilities.
