    Our Mission

    To ensure that the technology infrastructure, including all information systems needed to support instructional and administrative programs, are available to perform the functions necessary to properly operate each business within the school system.

    Areas of Responsibility

    The department is organized into six offices to provide services to PGCPS staff, students and parents.
    • Enterprise Systems
      The Technology Enterprise Systems office provides systems planning and architecture, systems administration and identity & access management services to PGCPS employees, contractors and students.
    • Instructional Technology Support
      This department provides employee technology training on Google, Microsoft, Oracle and a variety of other online tools.
    • Technology Applications Business Support
      The Business Applications Office develops & supports the business information systems that gather and maintain all data for Prince George's County Public Schools.
    • Technology Applications Student Support
      The Student Applications Office maintains and provides support for all information systems relating to students, including: Student Information System, AS400, ERCS, SBSIS, ILP
    • Technology Operations
      This office acquires, operates, and maintains the Information Technology infrastructure which supports the critical processes and information needs of Prince George’s County Public Schools.
    • Printing Services
      Printing and Copier Services is an in-house operation of the Prince George’s County Board of Education; our objective is to provide printing, copier, and related services to all schools, supporting services, administrative and regional offices and related programs in Prince George's County Public Schools.

    • SchoolMAX Family Portal
      SchoolMAX Family Portal is the software application that allows parents to access their child's grades and attendance online and through a mobile app.
