    Interesting Notes:  Kelvin is a musician who plays the violin, clarinet and the piano. He is now teaching himself to play the guitar. He is the 2010 Valedictorian of OHHS making straight A's for 47 consecutive quarters (since first grade). He has received numerous honors and awards. He is the chairperson of Church of Christ BINHI (Youth Group) Missionary and Christian Family Enhancement Committees. Currently he is completing a Research Practicum at National Institute of Health on the Investigation of Invasive Properties of Madin-Darby Canine Kidney Cells (MDCK). At the age of 16, his work has already been published with the National Center for Biotechnology Information - National Institute of Health (NIH).

    Interesting Notes: Ebrahim has always been an avid reader and often reads Biology and Chemistry books just for fun. He is the recipient of the Harvard Book Award for 2009. He was also selected as a summer intern to do extensive scientific research with Rutgers and Johns Hopkins Universities, to work with the “Hi-Gene Project for Sequencing the Genome of Duck-Weed.” He says he contributed to the project by trying to find new sequences of Duck-Weed DNA. His research has been published in the National Center of Biotechnology Information System (NCBI).

    Interesting Notes:  So has scored over 2000 on her SAT exam. She is an accomplished violinist. She has played many solo performances at past graduations. She will also be competing for her Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do this summer.

I want to do research in Particle Physics and Theoretical Physics for a large research center such as CERN or Fermilab. In the future I also want to donate back to my community both monetarily-wise and service wise. 

    Interesting Notes: I am involved with College Summit and want to help the overall atmosphere of Potomac to a more college geared culture and show other students that college is a viable option. I am also involved with SGA and National Honor Society. I have received Rotary Club's Young American of the Month award and a 10,000 dollar merit scholarship.

    Future Goals:  Tamiko has been accepted to Georgia Tech, Penn State and the University of Maryland, College Park. She plans to major in Aerospace Engineering.

    Interesting Notes: William had an internship this past summer in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Maryland, College Park to help produce environmental friendly products. He loves the environment, politics and is extremely proud to be African. William was MVP for 2009 Labor Day Soccer Tournament, Won soccer Coach's Award in 11th and 12th Grade, Won tennis Coach's Award in 11th grade and was Semifinalist in the Star Performer Competition of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington.
