New Northern Adelphi Area High School


Scope of Work

Construction of a new 369,806 SF and 2,600 student high school in the Adelphi area to alleviate current overcrowding in neighboring schools and meet the demands of projected enrollment.

  • Current Status: On March 9, 2021, the Project Planning Committee (PPC) for the New Northern Adelphi Area High School held its kick-off meeting.  The committee consists of local Council Members, School Board members, and community representatives from the surrounding neighborhoods.  In this first meeting, the timeline of the project, and the role of the committee in the schematic design process, were reviewed.  Future meetings will refine the school's design using the educational specifications and input from committee members. 
  • Upcoming Activities: End-users, community members and the Project Planning Committee (PPC) will be meeting with the DCP team and Architect to develop the Schematic Design (SD) for this high school.
